Quick Start
Quick setup guide to start using MatchOps for your matches
Last updated: 2026-02-06
Welcome to MatchOps! This guide will help you get up and running quickly. The app works for both soccer and futsal - choose your game type when creating games, seasons, or tournaments.
MatchOps works completely offline after the first load. You can start with local-only storage (no account) or create a cloud account for cross-device sync.
This Quick Start gets you going fast. For the full experience with organized data and complete statistics, see the Recommended Workflow.
Installation
MatchOps is available on Google Play Store for Android, or as a web app at match-ops.com that you can install via your browser's "Add to Home Screen" option.
Open Play Store
Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.
Search and Install
Search for "MatchOps" and tap Install to download the app.
Launch
Open the app from your home screen or app drawer. It works offline after the first launch!
Choose Your Storage Mode
When you first open MatchOps, you'll see the Welcome Screen with two options:
Option 1: Start without an account (Quick Start)
- No account needed
- All data stays on your device
- Works completely offline
- Best for single-device use
Tap Start without an account to start using the app immediately.
Option 2: Use Cloud Sync (Recommended)
- Create account with email/password
- Cross-device sync
- Data syncs automatically across all your devices
- Still works offline (syncs when connected)
Tap Use Cloud Sync to create an account or sign in.
Not sure which to choose? Start locally - you can migrate to cloud mode anytime later in Settings.
